Snapdragons (Antirrhinum majus) have long been popular for their delectable fragrance as well as for their range of heights and colors. These Mediterranean natives tend to suffer in the summer heat of the southeastern United States and therefore are typically used as fall or early spring annuals. This publication focuses on snapdragons grown primarily as bedding or potted plants. Includes tables of cultivars widely available on the U.S. market as well as instructions on seed propagation and scheduling, recommended nutrient level, pests and diseases, and troubleshooting.
