It is crucial that cattle producers and their veterinarians maintain timely and accurate records during an animal’s lifespan and for at least three years after sale. This publication contains descriptions and examples of records that should be kept in a safe place and referenced to maintain accurate treatment. All example records meet BQA requirements and include: group processing, individual treatment, drug inventory, crops insecticide/herbicide, feed medication, and shipping/transfer release.
