As urban areas continue to grow, the number of encounters between wildlife and humans are expected to increase. Many people think that animals leave when residential areas and parks are developed, but these developments often become sheltered habitats and oases for wildlife. Whether you live in the city or suburb, you can be sure that wildlife is living nearby. Wildlife is as much a part of the urban landscape as roads and shopping centers. Therefore, people in cities and subdivisions all across the United States (US) must be aware of the potential danger that lurks around them, including backyard gardens and shrubs.
